New Testament Translation Asia
Tasmanian Baptist Translation Partnership In mid‑2026, Baptist churches from right across Tasmania, large and small, regional and city, generously committed to partner with TasBaptist in a New Testament translation project for a language community in a troubled region of Asia. Ulverstone Baptist Church is excited to join this mission endeavour, standing with others to bring Scripture into a community longing for hope.
With professional oversight provided by an international translation support agency, our shared role is to fund three local translators, enabling them to work faithfully and safely in their own context. The cost is approximately $700 per translator per month, sustained over the next six years, a long term investment in gospel hope for a community longing for Scripture in their heart language.
